V100 - Motions Analysis

We have completed analysis of motions for new design of V100 long-range displacement motor yacht. The idea is that such data are required to choose for roll stabilizer that is likely to be of gyro type. The motions are studied in range of sea states 3 to 6 for head, beam and following waves; ship speeds - 6 to 14kts, though 12 and 14kts might be not accurate as they exceed the limitations of the method. Hull and appendages are modeled in simplified way for panel method. Predictions of roll, pitch, yaw, heave, sway and surge are made and the results are presented in tabular form and in form of RAO graphs.
